Privacy policy

Domain Health is run by ITend2end (Pty) Ltd, Cape Town, South Africa. This page explains what personal information we collect, why, and what rights you have under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What we collect
- Your account: your name, email address and an encrypted (hashed) password. We never store your password in readable form.
- Domains you add: the domain names, any client labels you give them, and the results of our checks on their public DNS records.
- Free checks on our homepage: the domain name you check, its results, and which website or link brought you here (just the site name, such as linkedin.com). We don't store your IP address.
- Emailed reports: if you ask us to email you a report, your email address and that one domain. We use them only to send the report and a weekly recheck of that domain. Every email has a link to stop them in one click.
- Optional settings: your company name and a Slack or Microsoft Teams webhook address, if you add them.
- DNS fix requests: the name, email address and message entered when someone requests an expert fix from a domain report.
- Payments: which plan was bought, the amount and the payment reference. Payments are processed by Stitch. We never see or store card or bank details.
Why we use it
Only to run the service: to log you in, check your domains, send you alerts, renewal reminders and receipts, process payments, and respond to DNS fix requests. We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run Domain Health: our hosting and database provider, our email delivery provider, and Stitch for payments. If you share a domain report link, anyone with that link can see that domain's check results and client label, so only share it with people you trust.
DNS checks
Our checks only read records that are already public on the internet. We don't access your email, your mailboxes or your Microsoft 365 or Google accounts.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is open. If your paid plan ends, your domains and history are kept so you can pick up where you left off. Ask us to delete your account and we'll remove your personal information, except payment records we must keep for tax purposes.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. You can also object to how we process it, or complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).
